The Plaza Season 1 Points Program is designed to reward users for engaging with the platform and participating in various activities. The program offers a mix of action-based, social media, and community participation incentives to encourage long-term usage and platform engagement. At the end of each season, points are snapshotted and reset, giving everyone a fresh start to earn points and get rewarded. Season 1 began on March 24, 2025, at 2 pm ET and ends on April 28, 2025 at 12 pm ET. Pre-Season rewards will be distributed at the end of Season 2.
To ensure fairness and maintain the integrity of the protocol, each user is strictly limited to the use of one wallet per person. Attempts to exploit the system by using multiple wallets, also known as Sybil attacks, are prohibited and will result in disqualification from receiving rewards and possible suspension from the platform. Plaza reserves the right to detect and remove points from anyone caught abusing the system. The Points Program was designed to make it uneconomic to Sybil - users are better off connecting socials to a single wallet rather than self-referring another wallet.
In Season 1, users primarily earn Plaza Points by depositing assets into the Plaza Deposit Contract via the . Users can also earn points by referring users who deposit into the Plaza Deposit Contract. Users can continue to earn Plaza Points daily for testing iterations of the Plaza Protocol on testnet with fauceted testnet funds (free).

Refer Users to Deposit Eligible Assets into the Plaza Deposit Contract. Referrals from the Pre-Season begin to accrue points in Season 1 if the person referred depsoits into the Plaza Deposit Contract.

Create Base Sepolia Testnet (Free)
Create a bond or leverage token using the underlying faucet token. The amount of tokens created does not have an effect on the amount of points rewarded. A point is given for each token type created. The transaction itself is what counts.

Redeem Base Sepolia Testnet (Free)
Redeem a bond back to the underlying ETH or into USDC via the UI. Again, the amount of tokens created does not have an effect on the amount of points rewarded. A point is given for each token type created. The transaction itself is what counts.

Claim Coupon Base Sepolia Testnet (Free)
Claim a USDC coupon for holding bondETH. The amount of coupons received is driven by bondETH tokens held and does not have an effect on the amount of points rewarded. The claim transaction itself is what counts.

The Plaza Deposit Contract enables the Plaza Protocol to launch with liquidity so users may freely trade bondETH and levETH. Depositors in the Plaza Deposit Contract receive Plaza Points for providing the initial liquidity.
The Plaza Deposit Contract has an aggregate deposit cap of $10m and is first come, first serve. Users may deposit any of the supported assets into the Plaza Deposit Contract on Base Mainnet, which includes WETH, wstETH, cbETH, ezETH, wrsETH, rETH, and weETH. Once the deposit cap of $10m is reached, all depositing users will receive a 10% points boost. Depositors earn 10 Plaza Points / $ / day for each day they deposit, on top of the returns of the asset they deposit. Depositors also earn a 0.01x points multiplier for each day they remain deposited. The deposit multiplier only applies to points earned from depositing assets into the Plaza Deposit Contract. Points for depositing may take 48 hours to appear on the leaderboard.
Users may withdraw their deposited assets at any time but will forfeit their accrued Plaza Points for depositing. If a user partially withdraws, their points balance will update to where it would be if their remaining balance were the original deposit. If a depositor withdraws after the cap is reached, anyone may deposit up to the available remaining cap. For the duration of Season 1, deposited assets remain verifiably untouched in the Plaza Deposit Contract on Base Mainnet. At the end of Season 1 (expected to last 4 weeks), depositors will receive 70% of the value of their deposit in and 30% of the value of their deposit in on Base Mainnet - in aggregate representing equivalent exposure to the ETH LST/LRT they deposited. Users may then freely trade bondETH and levETH without forfeiting any Season 1 points. The Plaza Deposit Contract was formally audited by .

The Plaza Referral Program rewards users for growing the Plaza community by inviting their friends. Referring a user entitles the referrer to 10% of the points earned by the referree for depositing assets in the Plaza Deposit Contract. The points are additive - they do not subtract from the person you refer.
The Plaza Levels Program rewards users for their engagement and participation on the platform, offering exciting rewards such as exclusive NFTs, Discord roles, and merchandise to those who accrue points. As you accumulate points through daily activities, social engagement, and competition wins, you advance through levels, unlocking new rewards at each stage. At the end of each season, levels are reset, giving everyone a fresh start to compete and climb the levels again. Once levels refresh, new seasons bring fresh opportunities to claim additional rewards, including new NFTs, limited-edition merchandise, and roles.

Users may withdraw at any time and forfeit their Season 1 deposit points. At the end of Season 1, depositers receive 70% of their assets in bondETH and 30% of their assets in levETH, the combination equally their original exposure to ETH.
